Ahoy! Welcome aboard the USS Maximillian, Central Ohio's largest Independent Science Fiction Fan Association. We are not affiliated with either the Federation or Starfleet International so we set our own rules and regulations. Our ship is based on Star Trek but we love all kinds of Science Fiction including Star Wars, Doctor Who, Anime, Comic Books, Video Games and all the other facets of Geek culture! If you're a fan of any or all of the above then we would love to meet you! Our club meets on the SECOND Saturday of each month at various locations in Columbus. Meetings generally begin at 6:00 or 6:30 PM. After which we do a number of activities like potluck dinner & movie nights, game nights, checking out new restaurants in the area, group outings to see the latest sci-fi flick, away missions to conventions and museums such as the Armstrong Museum in Wapakoneta, OH. Members receive awards and promotions for participating in activities, serving on the command board or as a department head. We provide lots of opportunities to expand your horizons and engage in fellowship with other like-minded fans. New members are always welcome to attend our meetings. Membership is FREE!
