USS Columbus

The USS Columbus is the oldest chapter of Starfleet International in Central Ohio. This is a very family friendly club for fans of all ages.  Our members range in age from 5 to 85!  Our group meets the THIRD Saturday of the month at various locations in Columbus.  This club has been involved in many activities over the years. In addition to monthly meetings we often have potluck dinners & movie nights, sometimes we go as a group to try out local restaurants.  Away missions include trips to Perkins Observatory, the Dayton Air Force Museum and the Armstrong Space Museum in Wapakoneta, OH.  Many of our members are interested in real present-day space exploration and current NASA missions.  As on Star Trek, our members receive promotions and awards for their participation in club activities and can also take courses online at Starfleet Academy - just for fun and informational purposes of course!  The main charity that we support is the Firefighters 4 Kids Toy Drive. Over the past 10 years we've collected and donated over 5000+ toys to this cause.
